The first step in the sacramental preparation process for new families is a meeting with Deacon Mike. This first of four meetings is in October.
Preparation is a two-year process beginning in the first grade. Sessions are also available for older children who would like to prepare for First Communion and First Reconciliation (Confession). All parents are expected to assist in the sacramental preparation of their children and are required attend the parent meetings for this purpose. First Communions are held on the Saturdays during May. Liturgies are held in English, Spanish and Bilingual.
FIRST RECONCILIATION (CONFESSION):
Children are prepared to celebrate this sacrament before they receive their First Communion. All parents are expected to assist in the sacramental preparation of their children and are required to attend the parent meetings for this purpose. The Sacrament Liturgy is in English and Spanish.

BAPTISM FOR OLDER CHILDREN:
This sacrament requires that the child or youth must be attending Faith Formation classes. This is a two year program.(Confirmation classes for High School students). All parents and Godparents are expected to assist in the sacramental preparation of their children and are required attend the parent and Godparent meetings for this purpose. Baptism for Junior and Senior High School students is at the Easter Vigil Liturgy. Grade school children are held during the regularly scheduled Sunday Masses during Easter Time. They can be in either English or Spanish
INFANT BAPTISM: Baptism is celebrated upon completion of the Parent Baptism Preparation Program. Contact the Parish Office at 657-4043 for information.
FAITH FORMATION IS NOT JUST FOR SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION. IT IS A CONTINUEING PROCESS AND YOUR CHILD SHOULD CONTINUE CLASSES AFTER THE RECEPTION OF ANY SACRAMENTS.
